Swedish Gestation Calculator Wheel – Skandinaviska Kreatursförsäkringsbolaget

An authentic antique Swedish gestation calendar wheel (Dräktighetskalender) issued as a promotional tool by Skandinaviska Kreatursförsäkringsbolaget (S.K.F.B., founded 1890).

By rotating the inner cardboard wheel, farmers and breeders could calculate expected birth dates for livestock and domestic animals including cows, horses, sheep/goats, pigs, dogs, cats, and poultry. Features detailed vintage illustrations of animals and month/day markers around the perimeter.

The back lists operating instructions alongside regional branch office locations across Sweden (Stockholm, Malmö, Uppsala, Umeå, etc.). Made of printed cardboard with metal eyelet rivets. Shows authentic age-related wear, light surface marks, and patina consistent with historical agricultural use.
